The Mississippi Bar's Women in the Profession Committee will host the 26th Annual Evelyn Gandy Lectures Series at Grand Hotel, Point Clear, AL on February 22-24, 2019. This premier CLE for women lawyers was named for the late Lt. Gov. Evelyn Gandy, whose passion for public service survives through this lectureship. Her stellar career was capped with her being elected as the first female lieutenant governor in Mississippi's history.

I’m looking forward to participating on the panel entitled “Finding Your Niche: Merging Your Passion with Your Law Practice” A panel of attorneys who have established niche practices will discuss our practices, including how and why we got started, what our “typical” day is like, the challenges and successes we have experienced in choosing our particular niche practice and what makes us stay the course.
